Hi all and thanks for the encouragement on my choice of charity. Was thinking that I would get in touch with a few of the prime time news shows that I watch since they seem to be big on helping fundraisers for health type stuff...won't hurt to see if they will pimp our next YDC.

I was also noticing the confusion about payment. I would like to have everyone that does this charity to gift the payments to me so I can send it as one lump sum. Less confusion maybe. Any thoughts and or sugestions would be appreciated.

As they say in certain circles... YOU GO GIRL! :-)))

Collecting in one big pot should work fine, as long as it's well communicated. I gather Meebo's been doing that this month, but I had no idea and Just Gave instead - oops.

Great choice of charity - started in France and a French charity that everyone has heard of - maybe we will get some interest from the French!

Any chance of people putting "Médecins Sans Frontières" as well as "Doctors without Borders" in their auctions?? (Then will show in French searches - hopefully)

I could make a widget if you like - a snippet of code with both names, and links to appropriate websites or something - that folks could copy into their listings if they wanted? Any use?

Yes - that would indeed be helpful - anything to try and get eBid noticed in a positive way in France!
