Hi! I am brand-new to E-bid.net. (As of December 1, 2013) I have been very active on other selling/auction sites; but I have heard so many wonderful things about E-bid that I figured the time that come to give it a try. In fact, in the last two weeks the time has come to give just about everything a try. My Mother and I have been living in a home for the last four years that truly was much too large for two people. Last week, my Mom passed on and, as you can imagine, this home is super-too-large for only one person.

My goal is to be able to go through this home with the fine-toothed comb; pull out all working, yet unnecessary, items; and to get them sold as quickly as possible! The day after Mom passed on, I received several messages from the federal government advising me that both of our bank accounts had been totally cleared out the night before (Identity Theft). Financially, I am in a very, very serious situation. Please understand that I'm not telling you this story to muster up any sympathy; I am merely explaining the reason why I will be listing a number of items that will hopefully be able to be auctioned in short time frames.

After suffering from a very severe brain condition, I retired from my 25 year practice as a Healthcare Attorney. Although I loved my time working in that capacity, there were simply so many other things I had always wanted to do that my disability now allowed me to experiment with other "talents." [The injury did not leave me with any loss of intelligence; but I now have extremely severe ADD and short-term memory loss. These are not characteristics desirable for an attorney!]

To that end, (directly following the brain injury) I discovered that I suddenly was given the gift of rather amazing artistic ability something I had never had in the past! I have enjoyed painting, sculpting, jewelry design, photography, ceramic work, and so much more! Now, is the time for me to become very, very practical. For that reason I will be selling many items associated with these artistic endeavors.

I'm fairly certain that in the next few months you will find items for my home in many of the categories listed in your site. I hope that this will be a successful venture, and, if nothing else, it will certainly be an interesting adventure!

I sincerely look forward to working with many of you in the very near future.
