Seller Bids Farewell to eBay
Found this on my Google+ wall - The sentiments of many I think.
From ecommercebytes:
Dear Ina,
After 16 years on eBay, I generated my last shipping label today for shipment on Monday. A small seller for sure, for all those years, but a "customer" of this disgusting site for all those years...... more here.
Re: Seller Bids Farewell to eBay
It's been 2 months since he posted to Ina so now entice him to eBid as he's on 'your wall? :)

That was a excellent Read , I have a saying The Customer is always Right !
Maybe just Maybe the other site might learn to Value their Customers instead of their Monthly Invoice ..
eBid is by far the best site for friendly people yes real People ...

It was a friend who posted on my G+ wall, so I don't know how to contact said person to entice them over here.

Re: Seller Bids Farewell to eBay
I do still sell there but I sell collectables and the people who buy them want to keep them. However, I have stopped listing vintage linen after a customer did a not as described on me.
I'd love to ditch paypal but it's what buyers want to use. What can we do about that?

- me too.
The other week I wanted something in particular... they were not on ebid :-(
So popped 'over there'. There were over 100 listed. For whatever reason I did not buy it there and then. When I went back there, there were 2 items listed. So even as 'just a buyer' the way items are erratic due, I am guessing, to free listing days is also VERY annoying!
SO cross fingers ebid starts adverting better as, as a buyer, I don't want to have to catch the right time of the month to buy things!
At least that does not happen here :-)
Well done to all those on that forum thread prompting ebid :-)
Re: Seller Bids Farewell to eBay
re free listing days. In the olden days I used to not bother to list on free listing days as all the junk kept the prices low - I think buyers couldn't be bothered to trawl through all the useless listings to find the good stuff.

I had a newbie buyer in October that paid by PPP whatever it is, which is interesting, it seems that some are comfortable with it.
At some point I'll get round to working out how I can get my hands on the money!!
