Re: Ebid and google shopping
The first observation I would make after looking at some of your items...
I can't see that any have the barcode field completed despite their accompanying images clearly showing one printed on the front cover. Google are very fussy about this and will reject listings that do not provide the information if it is available.
A few other tips I posted earlier: https://www.ebid.net/forums/showthre...=1#post1712542
Re: Ebid and google shopping
I have only started looking the whole getting them listed to show on google.
The thing that worried me is with a search string of superman comic in google shopping no ebid listings come up until you add ebid to the search string.
Re: Ebid and google shopping
Hmm Not sure why this is happening to you have just checked one of my comics by title and it was in the top five? didn't add ebid in the search either.
As astral said think it is important to add the bar code but sometimes the bar codes on comics can be strange beasts. I think a lot of mine are set up in the template as EXEMPT (has to be in caps apparently).
What also helps with getting in to google is keywords use as many as the spaces allow. for example I would use for superman comics Superman,Super-Man, DC Comics, Comics, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, etc etc.
I would also add the comic book writer and artist and also add variations of Comic eg) Comicbook, comic, COMIC, dc comics, DC COMICS etc etc.
If you think about how many different ways you can search for a comic book the more keywords are better.
Hope this helps.
