I remember, the Beatles on " The Ed Sullivan Show ". I liked them and enjoyed their music till after " Yellow Submarine ". It then went the wrong way for me. I probably have all their music in MP3 formatt, and a few of their original albums.

Hi Harold,
yes they were a fantastic group, they were huge down here in australia,
I still have a lot of work to do on the site, but it is coming along very nicely,
When they appeared on the ed sullivan show it was beamed down here to australia and even had top billing in the news papers here in australia.
record Viewing i can remeber it was a saturday night in Black and White in Australia we never had coloured tv then.

My husband got their LPs. I was just a little too young and in the wrong country to really hear about them till 1969/70. But I am a fan.

I'm certainly a fan and coming from near Liverpool I was very disappointed when my mum wouldn't let me go to the Cavern, I was just a teensy bit too young! A couple of years later and I would have gone because I went to see the Stones when I was 12!!
Paul has a house not far from where I live... never see him although he does visit alot.

Cracking website, I shall have a more in depth look very soon!

I'm glad to say that i was too young to be a beatles fan. In the 60's i was too busy playing with dolls & having tea parties to notice them, although i did love the Monkeys.
I was a Jackson 5, Osmonds & David cassidy fan in the 70's.

I'm one of the lucky ones who got to see a performance by the Beatles. It was 1963 and at the Queens Hall in Leeds.
Sadly, I didn't hear much of their music as they were drowned out by all the screaming and swooning, but it was enough just to be in the same building as the Fab Four.
Unforgettable ! ;)
Sad also, to think that there are only two living now ......

They played at our local Granada cinema one Sunday before they were really famous.
We had gone to see the film, not them!
