Region 0 DVD
Someone gave me an instructional DVD some while ago. I have just come across it and thought I would list it, but now notice it says that it is region 0.
I know I can play region 2 but I do remember having a DVD once that wasn't region 2 which wouldn't play (dont remember what number that was).
I googled region 0 and it makes me think that it will play on anything but I thought I would ask all you clever clogs first.
As a last resort I will probably have to open it up and try but it still sealed in its cellophane and it wont be new anymore.

Region 0 is simply universal to the best of my knowledge.

Re: Region 0 DVD
Yes, region 0 is Universal, can be played in any region.
There was never any need for separate regions. Anybody would think it was simply a ploy by the manufacturers to stop people buying cheaper DVD's from other countries.

Re: Region 0 DVD
Kreative it is the same with some printer inks. If i buy them at (the more expensive) pcworld etc it says made in Ireland and works in Europe but if you buy on ebay and it says made in Malaysia it comes up as region error and says it is for the Asian market and not Europe!
