I note it starts in 1583, just after the Papal States had adopted the Gregorian calendar. so there will be some wonderful early anomalies. Thinking of what is now the US the Mississippi valley changed with France in 1582, whereas the British colonies did not change until the UK changed to it in 1752. The Spanish areas of Texas, Arizona, Nevada etc changed in 1582 as well.
Russia changed in 1920, which is why the October Revolution took place in November!
