Trying to re-open my shop
Hi all, I have just returned to Ebid after a long absence and i am trying to revamp my shop. Does it take time to re-open because nothing is happening.
Help would be greatly appreciated...thanks
PS. I am a SELLER+, so that should be ok, shouldn't it?
I get this when I click on my shop banner??

Re: Trying to re-open my shop
Also, can you move items you have already listed to your shop and if so, how?
Re: Trying to re-open my shop
Make sure you're using https://www.ebid.net/uk/ and not http to access eBid.
Once in your account, you can move items between your stores either by Bulk Edit or individually using the drop down menu [top right] when editing an individual listing.
HTH.
Re: Trying to re-open my shop
I'm a bit of a thicky when it comes to this stuff, however if you look at my post I can see the address of my shop at at the bottom is http, how would I change that?

Re: Trying to re-open my shop
It might be that either your shop banner, listing photos, links or templates are hosted from a site that isn't https. When the change happened I had to move all my photos that were hosted from my own website (which wasn't https compliant at the time) to the eBid gallery.
Re: Trying to re-open my shop
How long ago was this, please?

It all began about 15 months ago due to Google's insistence on SSL compliance
1st it was images and links hosted externally on our listings; then it was the whole website and our store links, etc.

Re: Trying to re-open my shop
Thanks for all your help, I've managed to open a new shop now.
I just need to know how to put my 570 listings in there.....Any further help would be great, thanks
Re: Trying to re-open my shop
You can also no longer use the shorthand links i.e. https://royster'sfootballcards.ebid.net and must use the full form of https://www.ebid.net/uk/stores/Roysters-Football-Cards
If you use the shorthand links they will generate a security risk warning.
