You are buying a used car and wondering if it has been in an accident or not? Take along a fridge magnet and see it it sticks where there should be metal. Common places to check are doors and rear&front quarter panels etc. If it falls off it is most likely filled with bondo (body filler) under the paint and has been damaged somewhere.
