1920s beaded bag stash

Wanted to share this w/ knitters and beaders. Won this old candy box at a local auction, it is someone's beaded bag making stash. Purse twist thread boxes & spools, bead needles, hanks of Czech beads and best of all an old knitted beaded purse minus its frame (no knitting needles darn it). Looks like bag is scrap with thread issues.

Bought it to use beads, maybe copy the purse pattern. Neat, it has beads on both sides! Beads are yellow with blue/grey inside.

I have some old repro knitting patterns for handbags from 1920s, and have read about this "purse twist" but never saw any up close. Neat, it looks like pearl cotton.

Anyone knit these beaded bags lately?
