Is this the chap who speaks about "resolution" and "keeping together" and things like that? I find that so reassuring - it means his word is his bond! So rare these days...
A new life is always a cause for celebration.
Congrats to Boris and Carrie and their new baby boy
Then why "congratulations"? It is normal to offer congratulations to the parents, not the child, which is "to be welcomed" as I said. I would not congratulate someone who will have to do a tour of the UK every Christmas to visit all his progeny by various mothers!
Let us just rejoice in some good news for a change.
My post was not determined by semantics or judgement.
Then I shall make it clear:
CONGRATULATIONS BORIS AND CARRIE ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR BABY.
What you want to read into it, is up to you. I was merely reporting the news with a link.
