Renting Items
Hello eBid gang!
I have a question to pose, and I am posing it very carefully... does eBid allow the sales of rental items to be posted on their website? The reason I ask is I am wishing to rent out some Apple iPads I have recently purchased but I want to make sure I follow eBid's policy to the que. What are you thoughts and would this even pass the red tape?

Also I will post a poll to see the amount of approval (Good Idea) or deny (Bad Idea, needs rethinking)...

Re: Renting Items
Jolly good question & the short answer is - I don't know.
Couldn't find anything on it in the rules, but that doesn't mean it's not there!
My guess is that you should run this by support.
Then let us all know the answer.
Good luck.:)

Re: Renting Items
Support is the only way to find out.
One question is say you charge $30 a month for 12 months, would the listing be for $30 or $360 as ths fees would be 12 times higher for the latter.

Re: Renting Items
Great question, CheapStudent. Good luck with your studies and what could be a great idea, even if E Bid does not allow it, there's other ways to promote it

Re: Renting Items
I suppose the question is whether the rental is seen as a service - which then falls foul of the "Goods must be in tangible form" rule, or whether the delivery of a physical object with a rental agreement gets around that problem.
Support are the ones to ask.
