Tools With a Mission

Found a home for my old laptop & netbook - Tools With a Mission http://www.twam.uk/

'They collect unwanted tools, refurbish them, sort them into trade kits and send them across the world. They send around 22 containers filled with over 300 tonnes of tools every year.'

TWAM relies on donations of tools from individuals and organisations. We send out trade kits and the list of those we currently do is here. In addition to tools we also accept sewing & knitting machines, haberdashery, IT equipment, school books and bikes.

I would prefer to send my tools to http://workaid.org/ as they don't have an ulterior motive or "mission"

Looks like both have their faults. One spouts religion and the other endorses another selling site but I'm sure both have helped a lot of people so that's the important thing ! http://www.pic4ever.com/images/128fs318181.gif
