Music general chat for music lovers
I'm still sulking after my post disappeared yesterday on Joe Walsh and Eagles re Eagles thread, so decided to start a new music thread myself!
Also any good links and contributions welcome. What music and who are you listening to at the moment?
My very last one was the brilliant Joe Walsh offered up by Spyder who is a musician of exceptional taste who posts regularly and can be found in Sellars Cellar quite frequently.
The very first song I learned on guitar, incidentally, was Hotel California.

ROFL FUTERVEST!!! You are great!!!
I love music.....Seller's Cellar does get some great threads, but the drinks get spilled on them sometimes, so this will be great! No thread at the moment, but am right now smitten with Brian Wendt, guitar solos - mellow mood music type, from Colorado. I'll see if I can find a link, but I have a CD.....so....I'm lucky!!

Re: Music general chat for music lovers
I enjoy my music alot.
i like alot of rock/metal but can just as easily glide of into some nice easy listening or folk music depending on mood.
I've found Bob Harris shows have done me well over the years.
I can go from Metallica, Sabbath, Zep etc across to Marc Cohn, James Taylor and Sting.
I guess thats somewhat eclectic and it really does all depend on mood. Not a fan of rap or hip hop as a genre but the odd track sneaks through as catchy.

Sal, I wonder why they removed your post? That seems odd. I LOVE the Eagles, have all their albums and used to play acoustic guitar meself many many moons ago - took lessons at 8 from a hippie who taught me a lot of Arlo Guthrie and Joan Baez. :)
Yes, I love folk music, too, as well as jazz, rock, blues, oldies, pretty much anything except rap, (being white I can't relate to all that kill whitey stuff). :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,

Another talented lady as we've already discovered Sues.
To be honest I dont think 'they' removed my post, there were others just disappeared too, plus other strange goings on like my signature link suddenly disappearing out of one of my stores, login disappearing, a post (someone elses) appearing when it wasnt there before, that sort of stuff. Ive been making joking references about a poltergeist on here, but it seems to have all been since an up-date a couple of weeks ago. other people have mentioned similar things too.
There was nothing bad in the post that would make them remove it.
Anyhow back to the music, we'll have to get YOU on guitar one night at SC!

LOL! :) Sal, now that would be a rare and scary sight. Think I'll stick to the sax, at least that way I won't scare off all the drinkers. :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,
