Re: No refund from seller!!
If I understand correctly are you saying that as the seller moved your payment money out of their PayPal account into their own Bank Account that PayPal is nolonger obliged to do any more as reguards you claim for a refund.
Should not the title include Re: No refund from PayPal!!
Re: No refund from seller!!
I'm not sure how much paypal protection extends to sites outside ebay.....would be good to know. How frustrating!!

This has certainly made me think twice about doing anything on here.
While it is true that this seller (former) was on eBid at the time of your purchase, to say that you'll think twice about doing anything on here (I presume you mean eBid) is not the case...your frustration with this transaction is solely PayPal's problem...not eBid.

They have just told me that I should contact the seller. Yes very frustrating, it makes me so cross. I wouldn't dream of ripping anyone off. Trouble is, with this kind of thing, bad reports travel so much further than good ones!

This topic comes up every so often. Some years back I asked PayPal. Unless they have since changed their policy*, the answer is: it doesn't. PayPal, despite encouraging people to offer their service in as many places as possible, officially offer zero protection outside of Feebay. They may settle some cases in buyers favour after problems on non-Feebay sites, but they are not, apparently, obliged to do so.
* And as it is now six years since I asked, they may have . . . but I doubt it.

Except that they are or were a seller on Ebid! And it is the case, I will think twice. :)
Re: No refund from seller!!
Wow, this sucks, sorry to hear it. Had a similar experience on Feepay some years ago, bought an item and the seller didn't send it. Kept on e mailing for a few weeks, then contacted Paypal and Feepay. Took several months, but I finally got a refund for my purchase, guess I was lucky. This sort of thing can happen anywhere online, which is why it's always best to make contact with the seller before purchasing.
Hope you get this sorted soon. :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,
