Probably. I expect Vonz will let us know soon. :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,
that might be a problem as i will be on holiday in the Isle of Man visiting my grandchildren during the YDC. I leave on the 25th and dont get back till the 2nd april.
If it is me can someone let m e know what will happen? i do have a charity in mind but i wont be here to do totals etc at the end
I'm sure Vonz will let you know. Oh and congrats on your listing for YDC, very well done! :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,
Penni, I'll do the totalling stuff if you like.
Thank you so much Madelaine. That would be wonderful. I don't go till the 25th and I come back on the 2nd. I thought if i put i my listings that i cant post till the 3rd i could still list an item or two.
My mum died of bowel cancer which for 6 months of visiting the doctor every week they told her was just poor diet and constipation. By the time they found it was cancer it was too late it had spread everywhere.
So for her i would like to support We Can a Scottish (and UK) Bowel Cancer Charity.
I know this may leave our American and Canadian cousins feeling left out (and Australian) but this is very close to my heart.
A link for more information is http://www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk/
Lots of people talk about and support breast cancer but bowel cancer is not talked about much and we are all at risk with our Western diets. If you are over 50 I urge you to get tested. Here in Scotland we automatically get called in a few weeks after our 50th birthday then every 3 years, but i know its not like that everywhere.
I hope this is a charity that you wont mind supporting in the next YDC
I am right behind you. In England the testing starts at 60 I believe
Great choice. It doesn't matter who does the research - the world should benefit from a cure.
It's what my dad died from, and have had other family with the disease. It affects lots of people.
Fab charity to support.......bowel cancer has also affected members of my family too....thankfully, all still here to tell the tale after bowel resections etc. etc.
I had reason to have a colonoscopy last year and had 9 (thankfully benign) tumors removed.
Now, if you've ever needed of of these darn things........and do research on "Picolax".......you might come across this:
