European Commission to criminalize nearly all seeds and plants not registered with government
(NaturalNews) A new law proposed by the European Commission would make it illegal to "grow, reproduce or trade" any vegetable seeds that have not been "tested, approved and accepted" by a new EU bureaucracy named the "EU Plant Variety Agency."
It's called the Plant Reproductive Material Law, and it attempts to put the government in charge of virtually all plants and seeds. Home gardeners who grow their own plants from non-regulated seeds would be considered criminals under this law.

I know enough about that party to think your post is the daftest one I have seen here for a while.
For any party to make a difference in the EU...their MEPS need to turn up for sittings and actually bother to vote.

UKIP are not trying to make a difference in the EU.
They believe that the UK, or what evers left of it after the Scotish Referendum, should leave it. :D

So why have they got members on the European Parliament?
One of the roles of the UK MEPs is to vote yes to things that are good for the UK and vote no to things that are not in the UK's best interests. That is what my MEP does there.

So, having read all that, I must be a criminal as half the plants in my greenhouse are growing from seeds I collected myself and I'm selling some plants that are self- seeded in the garden. Not to mention whatever grows from the seeds the birds drop - I get lovely blackberries from a bramble in the hedge!

They are doing it for Monsanto, they have your seeds.
They want to be your year after year seed and glyphosphate sales people.
Allow people to breed their own seeds, that's preposterous!
