I've never heard of that Buttons. Credit is credit until it's spent?
I put £5 on mine over a year ago..... still going strong as I only use it when absolutely necessary.
I'm with T-Mobile but I think that shouldn't make any difference?
.
Re: Thico mobile question
my pay as you go orange
i could have money on there for at least 2 years
edit
ive no credit on my mobile now but i can still recive texts and calls just cant make a call or answer answer phone
Re: Thico mobile question
I think with my Virgin Media PAYG if you do not use the phone for three months then it deactivates and you have to top-up to reactivate it. Any amount that was there is still there + the top-up. Bit of a PITA as I only use it when travelling (which I do less and less of as the years pass).
I have a calendar event set to remind me to use it every few months.
Re: Thico mobile question
my orange payg send me a text every morf re top up
even tho i not topped up in morfs
probably just a standard text
Re: Thico mobile question
Well I thought if i put 20 on it and didn't use it that it would be there if I need it
Just tried it again and the first thing it says is security failure and the next thing is emergency calls only.

From my old memory I had the same problem with O2. I thought I had a payg tariff but found it was a monthly top-up tariff so I was being charged for contact whether it be text or calls . I used my balance on the O2 network and switched to an Orange PAYG with an initial £10 payment and it still has £5 available. That was 12/18 months ago.
Re: Thico mobile question
Emergency calls only usually means that you are not connected to the network somehow.
Re: Thico mobile question
Dunno, but i am not going to pay for nothing
What does security failure mean
