Which platforms do you use
Just out of interest Ladies and Gents, which platforms do you use to advertise your items for sale. I currently use Ebid (plug your actions) Facebook (x2 Ebid Groups) Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr. Get lots of views through these but not many Sales. Who do you use? also did you know theire are two Facebook groups which you can join and promote one item a day, hardly anyone seems to go on these.
Re: Which platforms do you use
Correct me if I am wrong but th 2 facebook isn't one UK with only 10 members and the other is US, I must admit though its dam hard on here, but its free, nothing lost only a bit of time listing, I have just started listing on another site that isn't actually public as yet and that will be even harder but again its free

Two things come to mind:
"You get what you pay for"
"Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money"
"Brains..."
oops that was three.

Totally Agree.... "You Get What You Pay For"
But its not free on here is it, life membership £££££££ 2% FVF
So that statement I made is wrong.
Re: Which platforms do you use
I use Twitter, though I seem to get a few views no sales from there as yet, (that I know of anyhow). I don't use Facebook or the others, so can't comment on those.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
Re: Which platforms do you use
Have used Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, and eBid's "Plug Your Auctions"; lots of views but no sales from those platforms. I had even plugged a Mercury Silver Dime @ 10 cent start bid, no reserve, and average s/h fee, and did not receive 1 bid. I had to laugh..... maybe the many viewers thought I should have offered free shipping. Some sellers report that "Plug Your Auctions" works, but I have never had positive results from its use. Although slow, I do get sales here; mostly via Google Shopping/Google I suspect.
Re: Which platforms do you use
Yes, I use Ebids Plug Your Auctions, my facebook page, Google+ and Pinterest. I think I get a lot of views for my driftwood from
Pinterest and Plug Your Auctions. But I'm not sure about the other sites. I've tried twitter many times, but I just can't get on with it!
Wishing you all many, many sales :-)
