Brother printer help please

I'm having trouble with my Brother DCP-150C all-in-one printer.

About 4 months ago it refused to scan and I didn't bother to sort out the problem as I wasn't using the scanner. Last night I needed the scanner so I uninstalled and re-installed and did 3 photo scans with no problems.

When doing my first scan tonight the problem has returned and I get this:

Can anyone advise the cause please, in layman's terms, or is it a trip to my local techie guy to sort out the problem?

EDIT - I have tried restarting but still get the same message.

EDIT 2 - I think I've found the problem - TWAIN drivers have not installed.

Me thinks another trip to my pc guru. Oh well, such is life LOL

I am glad you have a PC Guru. I don't know what I would do

Basics I can do meebo but when it comes to TWAIN and suchlike I would rather my guru sorted it. He'll charge me about £20 but it's money well spent. :)

Unfortunately I have to wait until Monday before he can do it so I'll have to find other things to photograph and list over the weekend.
