Label help req: Does anyone know ...
...if there are labels made for sticking inside clear boxes so that the text can be read from outside the box? I need to be able to write within the body of the label, peel off the coating around the edges of the same face and stick that inside a container.
For what I need to do normal labels have the sticky on the wrong side.
If such things exist please let me know who makes them and what they are called or listed as.
TIA.
Re: Label help req: Does anyone know ...
You can create 'window decals' at places such as Vistaprint, though they are pretty expensive.
How about clear labels and use a graphic package to mirror print on the front so that it reads correctly when applied inside the item?
Re: Label help req: Does anyone know ...
Another suggestion: Static Window Stickers. Depending on the surface they may suit your needs.
Cant post a link and though I thought I had your email I haven't, but if you search for a UK firm called Stickythings you should find them. They also offer free samples, so you could try them out before buying. They come in both clear and opaque, blank or preprinted with your custom design.

Thanks, Mel, but neither option is viable.
I need something cheap enough to update and/or replace regularly.

Well how about ordinary labels stuck 'sticky to sticky' to a slightly larger piece of that sticky film used to cover books. That would leave a sticky border to attach the label inside the item.
Or... get some of that spray glue used to mount photographs and stuff and spray the label fronts after writing on them. You can get the spray in permanent and removable versions.
Or... just write on the sticky side of some Sellotape and stick that on the inside of the item.
Enough sticks in this post to make a bonfire.
Re: Label help req: Does anyone know ...
You could try plain 'DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED' wallets. although may be a little fiddly to achieve what you want but are cheap IMO.
Cut out the back (the sticky side), insert piece of paper with your info and attach to box.
Here's a link to one available on eBid. http://www.ebid.net/uk/for-sale/3398...-145662690.htm
Re: Label help req: Does anyone know ...
You can just create your own labels by cutting out your preferred label size using white card stock, then use double sided tape around the edges, write what you need within those taped edges, then peel the tape off and stick down. You could make a whole bunch of them, ready to write on.

Thanks for the suggestions; there are lots of things that I could do to make my own . . . but I am still looking for the proper product - if it exists.
