Some newbies are still confused by the eBid sign up page
Gazza some people still seem to be getting confused by the eBid sign up system. I just had this email from a new buyer.
Rebecca. Is there anyway I can pay you another way? When I put all my information in it took me to some kind of subscription service for $49.99 that I do not want. I am not computer savvy. I would be happy to call and give you my information if that would work.
I don't know what eBid shows to people when they sign up these days, as it was so long ago when I joined, but obviously it's not making it clear to some buyers that you can bypass the life time offer for sellers. Can something be done about this please, I don't want buyers being put off from using the site again in the future.

If this stops anyone at all, it needs to be fixed.
Please! eBid must be really user friendly.

I've had one buyer from the USA join up 3 seperate times as she couldn't navigate the log-in after initially joining up - or leave Feedback :(

Like you I don't know what new buyers see when they log in, I'd always assumed that they see the red "Start Shopping" button???
But I have to agree that whatever they see does confuse some newbies and even some not so new. I routinely mention, when I mark an item as posted, that I would "appreciate their FB to confirm safe delivery". This buyer had several FBs but replied that they had never worked out how to leave any. Might the problem be something to do with the drop-down menus ?

But - there is a Feedback tab in the left hand column + a tab along the top of everyone's Dashboard as well as in the ASL drop down menu.

Thanks for that Annie. Not sure where she was confused in that case. Maybe she didn't tick the buyer button and was taken to the lifetime offer ? Anyway I'm still waiting for her to pay so whatever confused her has probably put her off. https://www.animated-smileys.com/emo...ys-sad-009.gif
