Help, I've confused myself (It doesn't take much)
In my glass section I've always just entered 2:2 for that section. I recently also created a vase category only and transferred 'Vases' to that.
This morning added another glass item (not a vase) but when uploaded it failed because I had created a category - what does this meaning have I got to now give every 'not a vase' item a new category?
I wasn't a big deal - just thought if that section was being looked it might make searching quicker, if looking for a vase - is it better to remove vase cat rather than making everything more complicated?

I, like you get easily confused and sometimes wonder what I should list my items under, ie glasses, should they go under dining, bar accessories etc and have found that some of the books and magazines I have listed I cannot find as I have listed them under another heading, therefore I just stick to one heading Glassware, it makes it easier unless you know the dateline or maker. I try to research my items before listing but it can take time, something which I don't have a lot to spare at the moment what with showing people around my home, car boots and a decrepit knee.

Hi yeller,
Yes, I'm unsure that if you select one section do you ever get seen in different searches - still trying to suss that out.
I had no idea that by creating one category every item would also need a cat. I amended a glass listing but then it couldn't be re-listed until I selected a cat. (and I only had one). After that it seemed easier to delete the cat. - wasn't sure what would happen to the listings in that cat. Having done so, the listings went into the general listing and I had to just select Store section for the listings to show back in glass (luckily, I had only transferred a couple of listings).
