printing digital photos

im looking for a new multifunction printer (scanner/copier/printer) but i want one that will produce high quality photo prints, ideally with a card reader.

have looked at various review articles and quite like the sound of this Canon PIXMA MP780

though it doesnt appear to have a card reader.

does anyone have experience of this printer, or can suggest a good alternative?

price range i guess up to about £300.00 (i have seen this model for £208.99 )

any info/suggestions welcomed
