yes! *waves* :)
I am not sure what I would call myself.
I was brought up by my Grandmother who passed her knowledge, skills and beliefs to me.
She had one rule.
"An it hurt no thing do what thou wilt"
This sounds simple at first glance but I was guided from a very early age to think carefully about all my actions and decisions.
She was a very wise women with an incredible amount of knowledge about plants, animals and fellow humans.
I have followed her ways all my life.
I am now 65 and I have of course investigated other religions and philosophies.
I am content with closeness to the natural world and my relationships with fellow humans.
I am at peace with myself.
It doesn't matter who you are or what Gods or beliefs you choose to follow. As long as you harm no thing and you find fulfilment and peace. Be guided by the wise people in your society to nurture a respect for the natural world and other humans and teach the children those things that are positive and good.
To all thee Pagans, wiccan, Heathens etc......There is a Total Lunar Eclipse tomorrow/early hours of the morning (Please Check your Local times). The last Total Lunar Eclipse that coincided with Winter Solstice was over 450 years ago, so it is a special event.
I will be going to the Famous 'Twelve Apostles' on Ilkley Moor in West Yorkshire to get some images (providing there is a clear sky to take some images). How many others are going to be braving the freezing temperatures to view this event or am I just the crazy one?
I believe in "like attracts like" - so I "walk" in the light and there is no dark.
Hey all :)
Nice to meet you! Great to see so many Pagan here! :)
This sounds like a snap for me except i am 50 and live in Aberdeenshire. I brought all 4 of my children up as pagans and now 2 of them follow the path, 1 is a Christian and 1 a humanist. I also make beauty products and herbal teas but most enjoy dying with herbs.
