Re: Cocktails!!! and Music
Hi just popped in for a little while, not been around much busy getting my house ready to go on the market, getting too expensive for me to keep living here with council tax as well as management fees and a ridiculous water bill payable to STS and MOD, not what I signed up for when I bought the property.
Trish pleased you like my humour and understand it, not everybody does at times but my humour but it's a struggle at times because my brain keeps saying I'm 30 and the body argues with it saying who are you kidding. but I come from a big family of jokers, my mum was one of 15 and they all lived in a 3 bed terrace so we were all close, we could fill a coach for a day trip and have 2 cricket teams on the beach as we were all growing up, aunts, uncles, cousins etc. those were very happy days, we never had much but we were happy.
Well have been looking through the tunes and thought I would add some, Johnny Johnson a favourite, always put on a great show when he appeared in and around Lincoln in the early 70's Air Supply I discovered while driving home late one night, they were being interviewed on a radio show about their new Album and I ended up buying it at the weekend. Last but not least Meatloaf, I have this on Vynyl from the late 70's and when I play it I'm 25 again😁🤣🤣🤣

Re: Cocktails!!! and Music
Hi everyone,
just popped in to say hello and let you know that I'm still around.
I have been kept busy with melt making, sales have now declined on t'other side since their policy of only showing paid for promoted listings.
I'm glad really, as I have lots to do in the gardens.
Ole JR is quite content to sit in his chair (watching any old carp on the box) and blame his incapacity to work on his ankles and (IMO ... imaginary excuse) bad back which I suspect is made of glass!
We had a nice little break in April, we all went to Kessingland Holiday Park and spent Mon-Fri there.
It was so lovely for all of us to be together, although it was hard sharing my time between so many grandchildren.
I have enjoyed listening to everyone's musical choices, it's always good to widen your horizon where music is concerned.
As you know, my first "go-to" choices are heavy rock, especially Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Sabbath, Who et al, but I also love music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and early 80's. I love folk music and listen to classical music a lot. I really don't care for the repetitive rubbish with hardly any lyrics that you hear lately.
Here are a few choons I like to listen to ... enjoy!

Hey Trish..long time no see xxxx
It looks like I will be stuck in Eastbourne until I'm wealthy enough to move house.
I'm making plans to redecorate bits of the flat when I have the energy. I'm better organised now that I set time aside for writing, research and studying.
I now have time to decorate, but it could take years because I can only paint one wall at a time and rest for a few weeks in between jobs.

Good news. Billy's money he set aside for me to help me get back home to Gosport has finally been released to me from his estate :)
I might just have to pack the paint and decorate the new place
I'm putting the money to good use while I wait to move. I now pay a companion driver to get me to medical checkups

Well, there is quite a selection to listen to .... it would be great tony41, if you could give us an insight of what genres of music you enjoy listening to.
I'm sure books (with his HUGE musical knowledge and record collection could accomodate you! ;)
Have a cocktail on me ...
