Its very easy to accept Euros or US Dollars through PayPal, I have it set up so I can bill customers and they pay me it which currency they wish. Can't afford to turn customers away.

When we buy stock in from overseas if they request payment in US Dollars then thats what we pay them in, we don't insist on paying GBP, and we wouldn't get abusive if we asked and were refused.
We sell a lot into EU countries and they all seem happy to pay GBP, except this one guy.
Maybe I should have clarified a little more, when we pay our overseas suppliers we pay by T/T bank transfer and not through Paypal. Some of the suppliers are coming on over to Paypal but most still either prefer T/T or ILC, the bank sorts out the exchange rate which is useful as exchange rates vary daily.
We use the expedited service which costs £27 per transaction and the supplier receives the funds in their currency within 48hrs.
It would be better if we could do the transactions online like BACS or Paypal instead of having to trudge on down to the bank every time.
Yes I know there are online exchange merchants who provide the service like the bank and are somewhat cheaper, but registration takes ages as you have to set up special bank accounts, post proof of ID documents to them and so on... then of course there are the bogus ones who take your cash and run.
