I agree... Absolutely remove 'On First Bid'... it has run its time (2000-05) a flash in the pan... only was good for small auction sites.

Just thought of something else, not a biggie, but it would be nice if, when a potential buyer viewed any auction on-site, the auction amount were shown in the buyer's home currency. Currency conversions always get me a bit confused.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
I thought they were ?
Letting Buyers buy with out having to join ebid. (others have suggested it before)
I have seen comments all over the web that people hate having to register to sites, it is so tedious.
I wonder how many Googlers look at our listings and then back out without buying ?
I'm afraid I wouldn't like this either. I like to know who I'm dealing with and know that any trouble maker can be banned from the site. It's not such a problem for a small individual website but for a large site like eBid, particularly where auctions are concerned, I think it would cause chaos.
1. Money Bookers integrated into eBid
2. Showing listed auctions by store or all together via interchangeable option
3. Showing bids
4. Showing views
5. Ability to auto cancel auction if seller/bidder agree
6. Allowing approved member commercial links on eBid if clicks generated income percentage for eBid
7. Fix PPPay or remove
OK Guys I am only a newbie here (1 year)
And I take your points about shill bidders and non payers.
But I don't agree that you have to register on all sites these days.
There are about 100 marketplaces/auction sites and you have to register or become a member on most of them.
BUT there are thousands, probably millions of single online webstores privately owned. (I wish I knew a good word for them)
And it is fast becoming accepted that buyers hate to register on these.
They don't want to get follow up emails with other offers and get newsletters and spam etc.
They want to find their item click on their credit card and get out of there.
Why do my items get so many views (hundreds) and so few sales ( in the singles) ?
They have clicked on my items, and seen the price, so they must be interested
Why do they back out ?
But of course if you all think its a bad idea I'll go along with your thoughts.
But as I mentioned elsewhere I am adding a link for people to join ebid on all of my listings.
(which for some stupid reason I have not had for one year)
