Sunny pictures on a chilly morning - lovely to see! :)
Vientiane via Pakse to Siem Reap (a day in airports)
Howdy.
Most of today has been spent in Airports so not a lot to report.
We had a flight out of Vientiane this morning to travel the 1hr 20 minutes to Pakse (pronounced Pack-say) in the south of Laos.
From there we had a connecting International 1hr flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia - gateway to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom etc., etc.
Some pix are attached, although (maybe) tomorrow we will go to Angkor Wat - which will be much more interesting I expect.
Sabaidee!

Your Brother and Sister are about to see the most amazing place in the world, something that makes the Pyramids look like a bunch of rather boring bricks.
When I was in Siem Reap all those years ago it was under a curfew......
That Guest House has a familiar name........ I wonder, could be. If it is the same place I remember a courtyard at the front with the building on the left as you look from the outside dirt track, there were 12ft gates at entrance (although the gates have likely been removed, they were a nightmare to climb over).
I agree...it's such a treat to see places I know I will never get to in person! And I do love all the variety of pics.....it makes me feel like I am along for the plane ride, the transport to the hotel.........in the hotel....etc. Makes it all SO much more interesting than just the tourist shots! Thanks!
