I know there are lots of crafters here so what have you been working on?
My first Infinity scarf and my first ever granny square were both completed this week :)

Knitting - as usual - but also some cross stitch cards which I sold not for various animal charities.
Moonwishes : great ideal of posting our crafting projects.
Hopefully it will feed our creative processing to do more.
I had worked on a "witchy doll" and have given to a friend in California.
The cat button is a black button with paper paint built up for the ears and then I had a cat paperpunch to make the cat on her hat.
Now I was drawing a Christmas stocking pattern that I like to make some out of an old quilt.
.
Crochet as usual for me, some masks, a baby turtle and an Irish flag tea cosy......

I'm really pleased this thread has picked up so quickly.
I'm planning on getting more sorted this winter
Billy has talked me into making a bedspread from a huge pile of yarn I have taking up space all over the flat
A huge undertaking! Good Luck with it. I don't have the patience for big items these days. :o
I forgot to post what happens when I run out of cheese.... (and only want a short term crochet fix)...

I rather agree about large projects. This scarf is as large as it gets these days.

P.S. I wish ebid forums didn't rotate my pics!
Cute mice. Attach strings and sell them in groups of 6 as ornaments.
My sister is a big mouse/mice person and one of her Christmas trees is nothing but mice, (another tree is all cats)
Or
Stuff the inside batting with catnip and you have cat toys.
That's another project I have to do. I have a huge container of dried catnip for making my kids toys.
Until arthritis took hold in my hands and wrists, I used to make, and teach, bobbin lace.
I made this butterfly for my parents' Golden Wedding in 1999 - just as well I started it about 4 years beforehand!
Attachment 63292
That's lovely, Annie! I've never tried bobbin lace but I guess I don't need another hobby...
Wow! You are all so talented! I love the butterfly - that's a labor of love.
I only just started to crochet a few weeks ago.
This is the first square of a lap blanket I am making for my old soldier

Keep going Moonie, tension is everything....... keep that pinkie under control!

Ann, that Butterfly is really something. Just exquisite.

Police, white mouse has pale pink eyes and nose - just difficult to show on the pic.
I checked them out as suggested but see it is a US thing, couldn't find any UK ones.
Ah, well, they will just have to carry on living here! :)

Another suggestion:
Crochet a long chain and the have the mice hanging from them making . . . .
A mouse garland to decorate the house or Christmas tree.
I made this soft chair from a pattern that I had for years.
I found a plaid skirt and ripped it apart to use the fabric for this chair.
It's about 10 inches tall
So many ideas! I'm just about to start making Cat Christmas decorations - found a pattern for Halloween key rings - well, I don't do Halloween and key rings are a bit like egg cosies, no-one really needs another one. So cat key rings will become cat tree decorations - each one will have a festive ribbon round its neck. However, I haven't started yet....
OMG!...Is it nearly Christmas?
I want to make toilet roll holders, but I have a lap blanket to finish.
Christmas will have to wait till next year lol

Needs re-mounting/framing but still one of my favourite pieces.
My needle felted fox.

Annie, Benjamin is just so cute. Beautifully worked.
Stitch - that felted fox is brilliant and a tad different. That is a talent I haven't often seen.
thanks both for posting. It's really nice to see what folk can create....:)

@Anniemcc2
Benjamin is such a sweet picture. What a treasure.
@Love_to_Stitch
Love that felting piece. Foxes seem to be popular in peoples collections.
I have felted using cashmere and wool sweaters and then add cat fur (remember not to include cat when felting) LOL
@Maelbrigda
Wonderful project. I think I saw that in a magazine so where ;-)
thank you. Took a while to knit with my sore hands but got there eventually.
I was going through items other than clothing and I found some more dolls that I made.
I need to go over them before listing them.
Cheavers : the mermaid dolls are about 18 inches.
I have a partial doll made. I still have to make her arms and legs and then she will be attached to an eight inch fish that she will be riding on.
I also have "Tilda" forms cut out and ready to make and dress them.
I managed to get 4 pendulums done. Just need to write a description and put them up for sale.
There's one that is almost done.
Stones picked out for a few more to be made.
Another piece of cross-stitch.

Nothing like as special or skilled as the dolls or the cross stitch, these headbands are a tribute to fancy yarn!
I bought 3 balls of yarn with gold bits and had all knitted into headbands inside a week - the buttons are from a dress which I got rid of so long ago that I can't remember it at all.
My progress so far on Billy's Christmas blanket

You've done well there, Moony.
