Ouch. Well, squirrels are only rats with fluffy tails! Though rats can also be quite bonny in the right place.

I have yet to see a red squirrel in the UK.

I've only ever seen one in Jersey (well, two actually, they were chasing each other up and down a tree)

when we lived on the farm we got lots of them coming into the garden. We woke one morning to find that a cheeky chappy had climbed the ivy and was sitting on the window ledge. I managed to grab my phone but the photo i got is a blur of him running away :) Ive never seen a grey one.

They are around somewhere, but they only come out when you put your camera down.
