Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
We drove down from Monmouth to Exeter area Fri....and back Sun. Lots of water in the low spots of fields there and Somerset....wet here in Monmouth area, too. I think we had a smidge of snow in Nov? Nothing but rain since.
Warmish wet winter. And flowering things seem about 2-3 weeks early.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
There is so many places here in Somerset, that there are floods, all over he place am afraid was bad on Sunday going to MIL in places was really right across the road, & a lot of fields are flooded. alkig to the lady in the local shop she had a 456 divert to get home safely to the village Sunday evening as cars were stuck in the floods not far from here.
As Majesty said its been a wet winter & certainly not been to cold for many of us.so far have been saving on the heating. Mind you they are still threatening the country with snow, but they keep showing the boundaries of it on the forecast & we seem to be on the edge of it.
Somer has been busy listing ,
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
Finally, we have mid 50's in temperature.
Ground is a bit soft, but I did manage to rake 7 gardens so far.
I am hoping to get a couple more done.
The bigger ones, I won't be able to without getting stuck in the mud.
My outside cat, Milo, returned to his perch on the front window sill.
He wants food and then there is a black and white tommy coming around.
I think this will be another year that my cats won't be able to go outside with a fight with the two toms.
The robins have started to filter in and a couple flocks of geese have landed in the back cornfield.
One sand hill crane is across the road in the marsh. He has no friends.

Ebay has announced a new fee, i see alot of unhappy sellers on the boards.
If only Ebid would grab these chances to promote itself to sellers and buyers it could grow so easily with a few ads here and there. Shame really
From 8 April 2024, this new regulatory operating fee will apply to all sales from listings on the following sites: UK, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland.
How the regulatory operating fee is calculated

I saw that on ecommercebyte.
They are going from .30 to .40 payment processing fee. ( they must need money )
I also wish there is more updating from the eBid people, but I can still handle the way it is.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
It is a beautiful day.
Went back outside and finished garden #7.
Slip sliding in the mud, but it is now raked.
Now I have 11 gardens done and I manage to burn most of the leaves.
Hoping to get as much done while there is this weather before the normal gardening season starts (May).
I have been cleaning out the farms garage.
There are piles and piles of neat things. I have found old metal cans that I see will bring in $10-%50 per can.
Lots of brand new tools.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
We were left a little bit stunned tonight - our 9 year old autistic grandaughter was playing with nanny's phone with me when I accidentally locked it - she gave me the phone, hit the unlock screen and proceeded to guide my finger over the number pad to enter the security number to access the phone - she pushed my finger onto the numbers not me and she got it right!
No-one's told her the number but she's obviously watched it being enter and memorised it...
She may not speak much but she's one very clever child!

Mandart, its so good when you realise that the children observe so much, & are very cleaver in what they remember, in there own way, Glad she is doing well.
Well what a funny weather day again, they keep giving out bad weather mornings. just hope they will not all happen.
Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!
She sounds like a very sharp person, Mandart!
Police.....slow down! You are starting to make me think you are the real cause of global warming with how fast you buzz around and get things done!!
We had rain last night and this morning, then it got even colder and we had lots of tiny, wind-driven hail this afternoon.
