But today's lot are mostly even worse!
I thought that Churchill lost an election after the war. Something about him not being the right man for the job in a peacetime Britain.
I believe, FDR lied about more than his polio to the voters of this country. If he hadn't, Britain would probably have had a somewhat harder time without lend-lease. Of course, I've never been able to understand how that was remotely legal while the US was claiming neutrality.
