Can anyone tell me how i can speak to customer service re someone who i have apid who is asking for more money than the winning bid
You will need to email support@ebid.net providing all the details (item ID etc), there's no telephone support. Just a quick check first: you're not talking about them just adding on the shipping costs I assume?
Wow, if they're not talking about the postage costs, then it is bang out of order!! Check first though, you don't want any egg on your face!!
Regarding customer services, I emailed them yesterday, and had a response within about 20 minutes which was excellent! :)
Seller should never ask for more money unless buyer insists on paying less than the final bid price and agreed upon shipping. If shipping costs more than expected because I misjudged the weight, then I pick up the difference. Our post office makes us measure the boxes and I once had to pay an extra $7.00 because the box was 1/8" over the limit for its category. That wasn't the buyer's fault and I don't expect them to pay the difference.
I'd rather keep the customer than turn him away. btw-in some marketing classes that I attended, they said that one unhappy buyer will turn away over 2,000 customers in a lifetime. Word of mouth can be a powerful tool or a really destructive tool.
I hear that ebid support are good and reply quickly.
I wonder how many staff they have in total ?
In a way, they have a huge staff, because the Ebidders here on the forum are so helpful and knowledgeable it saves them lots of time and prevents lots of problems.
I feel EBID NEEDS a TOLL FREE NUMBER .
Why when you have us?
I see you have just joined ebid as a Seller+ Welcome to ebid
If you have any specific questions you can email ebid suport.
or you can open up a new thread on the appropriate forum
You will find that ebid does not really need a direct phone line, as they police their rules pretty well, which keeps out most naughty buyers and sellers.
Not sure what good it would do you..... toll free numbers are only useable in the country the place has an office..... eBid have an office in the UK the do not have an office in the USA therefore even if there was one you couldn't use it..... A bit like all those USA companies that have toll free numbers that I, living in the UK can not use
I thought eBid was based in Dallas; maybe it is only the servers. I find eBid responds promptly to emails. Some issues need to be addressed by eBid, but quite a few issues have been dealt with in the forums effectively.
Ebid have (or had) their headquarters in Weybridge Surrey in England.
This sounds no where near as glamorous as Miami !
Weybridge is a small town, but it has some very expensive streets and a few famous people have lived there.
Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Gazza ? Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Theo Paphitas.
It is the UK headquarters for Sony and Toshiba and ebid.

Actually No! They need a toll free number so that when someone has a question they do not have to look through thousands of unnecessary forums and links that do not answer their question! This is so ridiculous! That I paid to sell on this site and yet a simple answer can not be answered!
Click the help button at the top right of any page, then the CONTACT US tab, then the link you will find below.
Or, you could ask a simple question here on the forum. There are a lot of experienced and helpful eBidders here. I've found most of the answers I need here. Otherwise support is quick to get back to you
Contacted Ebid support over 48 hours ago, and still awaiting!
And my problem could not be resolved by using their forum.
What do you want support to tell you? They quite rightly don't require a phone number when making an eBid account and even if someone does add it to their personal details it isn't given out to a seller or when bidding.
