I have a HP photo smart wireless printer, the problem is that when I had windows 7 on the pc it would work ok for me but could not get it to work on the wifes laptop,tried everything all the instructions etc,but to no avail.
I have now installed windows 8 on to my pc and it now won't work at all, tried the instructions over and over again but nothing it will not work on my pc or the wifes laptop ??????????????

You will need to look on HP's website to see if they have updated their drivers.
It may well depend on the exact model you have
I have a wireless printer. When I changed broadband providers I needed to get it to work with the new hub. Simply reinstalling the software did not work. I eventually found that I had to unplug the printer's power to make it lose any previous settings, uninstall the previous drivers & software, restart the PC, then follow the instructions for a first time installation.Quote:

Thanks I have looked at the hp website and couldnt find any new drivers for it , will try uninstalling everything for the printer and give that a go thanks for your time people
