Marketplace Facilitator Tax Laws Enacted By Some US States
Is there any word from the eBid on how they are handing the collection of sales tax by Market Facilitators on deliveries to buyers in states that have passed these laws in the USA? I'm not sure how these laws affect eBid based in the UK but if they are registered to do business in the US it might.
Most of the states that have enacted these laws have thresholds on volume before these laws affect the Facilitator such as eBay, Amazon, etc. and I'm wondering if eBid has enough deliveries to any of those states to require them to collect and remit those taxes. Any word on that from the boys in the tower?

There's not much word on anything nowadays.

Just to follow up.
I've contacted support regarding this issue and have received a case number but other than that, no response. I'll keep y'all informed of any progress in my quest for this information.
However, I do feel that the service from the site's management is not what it once was. :(

Still haven't received a reply from support other than receiving a ticket number. Bummer!

Still no response from support other than the ticket number. Afraid I'm losing confidence in the boys at the helm. I'll probably need to keep my stores off-line until I get some clarification from the tower.

Maybe Dorian took a detour to the eBid Towers.....

Has anyone heard back from support in regards to collection of sales tax by Market Facilitators on deliveries to buyers in the state?

I'm here in Sacramento also and just CONSIDERING to join or not. If this is the type response by EBID Market Facilitators, I'm tending to NOT JOIN! This is an important issue as we sellers can be fined for not collecting and forwarding CA STATE SALES TAX and this should be a function of EBID just like it works for EBAY!

Has anyone been able to get an answer on this?
