Nice to see creative crafty stuff. I tried my hand at a few things at a local craft club but it closed some time ago and I haven't had the drive to do it since, which I think is a real shame.

That is a splendid ram! Is it needle felted?
I have cupboards choc-a-bloc with felting materials, all purchased with the grandiose idea of creating and selling my pictures. Landscapes are my interest and the felting is embellished with small areas of embroidery - such as flowers. 3D sculptures I have tried and failed.
Workshops have been my motivation but lockdown has put paid to those. Hopefully in the autumn they will resume and I shall continue stabbing felt and fingers!!!!Attachment 63659
That picture looks really nice, I had a go at a moorland scene but lost my way and never finished it, I just found it too difficult to get into the impressionist nature of the felt picture medium.
The ram has polymer clay horns (over curled wire) and glass bead eyes, otherwise is all needle felted.
I suppose I too need that motivation of a group, if I can see others doing things too it makes a big difference. It would be nice if I could make little simple things to sell, not a way to earn a living really but it'd be good therapy in difficult times!
I haven't had a go at needle felting myself but it sells well on crafty sites (I checked recently)
I'm still making lap blankets

I have done felting.
I would have cashmere and wool sweaters that would be in bad shape but perfect to felt them and then add wool fibers and felt those into them.
Inspired by Moony, I got out my little used crochet hook and made this baby blanket out of all my scraps of baby yarn
@madelaine
That's a pretty pretty piece.
I feel like I need to start hooking. ;)
I know where some of my yarn is but knitting and crochet needles are buried somewhere.
That's okay. I have some fancy yarn that I want to use on some purses.
My crafting time is on hold for a while. Need to update my shops first.
I thought there might be some mild demand for things like yarn bowls/boxes but never realized how many people actually do this stuff.. (I'd always thought it a lost art.. I used to do needlepoint, some crochet, macrame and stuff when I was much younger.. Ive long since forgotten the knack...) And I never even knew that "felting" was a thing.. fascinating stuff.. maybe I should focus on building some more yarn boxes (this is one I made for Jean, my significant other..)

and I can probably do similar results while turning bowls on the lathe (except they'd be , well, round bowls... )
What a gorgeous box!
