Fishing Tackle Seller Left Ebay
I'm finally completely fed up with Feebay. After having been on there for years, and I've not really been selling anything, except the past year, and even that was hit or miss...I'm done. I have to call in every 30 days in order to increase the number of listings I am allowed to post. Along with the ever increasing fees they are charging for listing items, and their FVF. So I am bringing all my inventory here.
I've barely scraped the surface of what I have to offer...but I'm definitely looking forward to selling even more here. Yes, when I signed up, I immediately purchased the Seller+ account, and I'm very happy that I did so!
Re: Fishing Tackle Seller Left Ebay
That sounds exactly like what I said when we moved our stores here.
Welcome to eBid!
Re: Fishing Tackle Seller Left Ebay
Even though I've only got 71 listings currently here, it's way more then I've ever had on Feebay. If I posted more then 1 Qty on each item, then it counted as an additional listing. Most times I only had 2-3 items listed, as I couldn't have more then 100 items, then 200...and just this month they bumped me to 400. Yippie, still not nearly enough for me with multiply quantities.

I think you are making the move at the right time. The news from eBid is increasingle positive, and will only get better as more see the light as you have done. Hopefully your increased listings over here will bring in the buyers for you and quickly build that much needed customer base.
Re: Fishing Tackle Seller Left Ebay
I made this move 3 years ago and very happy I did.
Fishing items (at least mine) aren't selling much as of now,
however, as I've always stated "I'm gonna be on the train when it comes into the station"
Good luck
Jim

Welcome to eBid, Scott...nice listings! I had a quick look and would suggest that you replace your 'personal pic' on your All About Me page...why? You have your ecommerce website URL on that banner...not allowed...yikes!
Wishing you all the very best!
Re: Fishing Tackle Seller Left Ebay
Welcome aboard, your listings are just the kind that will help to get more buyers on board, it will help not just yourself but other tackle sellers, the more sellers of a particular kind the better, that's the way to attract more buyers. This is just what has happened more recently with stamp & postcard sellers.
Good luck with your listings and future sales. If you need any help you will always find a friendly listening ear, here on the forums.

I had swore that I edited that image for my All About Me page just as I did for the forums, but I changed it easy enough. :) Thanks for catching that for me!

Welcome to eBid, we're glad you're here. :)
On a personal note, if you happen to see a fish finder swimming around, do let me know... :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,

Looking through the sporting goods sections, and seeing how many listings they have...allows me to see what kind of numbers I need to post. Plus it allows me to see that there is a growing Seller Base, so we need to bring over a good customer base for the fishing baits/tackles. :)
