The problem with bacon is that he has absolutely no discipline as a seller. I would of thought it's been well worth his while being a member of eBid, I certainly wouldn't of minded winning the thousand pounds that he did for the x millionth listing (can't remember which million).
Since visiting the forums I have always noticed Bacon has been an eBid supporter and appears to be easy going and easy to communicate with.
I truly beleive if anyone has suggestions to help his dilemma he would be willing to try the suggestions. I would actually like to hear those suggestions myself as one of these days I may get back to online selling.

Not sure if it has "fooled" me but I wouldn't consider sharing my opinion is steering towards being negative.

I do share MelmacAlf's opinion which was stated very clearly. I am something of a classic car fan myself but would never buy from, or recommend, bacon.

Re: We need more boat and marine parts.
Yes that's the problem with all these blogs and directory sites
Who ever looks at them ?
People only have a certain amount of time on the internet.
Just think about what you do on the internet ?

Happily I'll survive without your trade,or your insults.
Re: We need more boat and marine parts.
It's an insult, you don't know me and have never traded with me yet feel happy to tell people to steer clear.
I've cleared my auctions and asked Ebid to close my account,I'm not staying here to have my business slagged off by you.
I wish you well selling your tat though.

Thread deleted? Noooo!!! This is hilarious just what we want forum visitors to see, how sellers treat each other here.

You should start a blog. It would work well with lamps. Any subject where you can share expertise, info, catalogues etc. is ideal.
its already done by other people theres masses of info out there, theres many lamp dealers reg on ebid but have never offered a lamp for sale, probably the biggest dealer joined up last month as a seller not + he is offering some thing not lamp related my guess is hes doing what the guy did that you gave me the nod and wink over, the others im guessing there waiting for the hard work to be done before listing, the other buyers i know who have reged are also part time sellers again waiting for the cascade effect before they dip there toes, there are other factors that play there part as well,
