Any help would be appreciated....
Hi, I don't even know if I am in the right place to ask my questions - meaning I don't know if these items *are* antiques, or maybe there are dozens of them for sale in poundland!:D
An old friend gave them to me - said they had been hanging around for years ... if that's a clue.
The box is quite heavy, approx 62g, no idea what it is made of. It measures 60mm x 47mm.
The bottles are approx 60mm tall x 43mm across, have the ornate bit on both sides, which have clear sparkly stones in them
I have searched trying to get a rough idea of the price to list them for, but I haven't seen anything like them.
Please could anyone enlighten me?
Here they are:

Looks like pewter, to me.....any markings on the bottom??
Re: Any help would be appreciated....
I thought they might be pewter.
No, no markings at all.
Thanks for your reply, ma'am.
Re: Any help would be appreciated....
Agree with HM, likely pewter; generally pewter is marked with a manufacturer name, but not always.
I'm going with pewter for the box and the bottle ornaments. :)
Best wishes for many sales to all,
Re: Any help would be appreciated....
Thanks sues - I need to be 100% sure that the box is pewter ... and I was kind of hoping that someone could give me any idea of an asking price.
I'm hopeless with these things!

You could try these websites:

http://www.antique-bottles.net/
HTH :)
p.s. they look like ladies scent/perfume bottles and a pin/trinket tray to me - items that would be on a ladies dressing table.

They do look Art Nouveau; if they are, that definitely ups the value. :)
ArtFact is a good site for looking up collectibles/prices, as well as those mentioned above.

Cheers sues, I'm off to get dinner for the troops now, but will pore over all the above mentioned sites later.
