Are there any teddy bear experts out there?
Sorting through my late mother's effects, I have found a Russ Berrie 'Kipling' blonde teddy bear - no. 259.

He's about 5"/ 13cm tall - sitting. He's not jointed, has his green Russ Berrie label.
Have done a Google search, etc. as well as here on eBid and I'm really confused - as in some cases he's worth over $100 and in others just £6.95 or so.
Is this a special teddy bear?
