Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
Hi all
not posted for a while but just though i would pop on a quick post with an update of how I have been getting on.
Okay first off in the last 60 days I have had 137 sales. Lots of repeat customers.
I have broke the 1300 feedback mark all from my time here non imported.
I have had some great success promoting my listing on comic book and trading card forums.
Fees have been a killer;) Nearly a £5 one month lol
Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
That's great, hush!
My sales have been steady at 4 or 5 per week. Lockdown has driven a lot of people to knitting,I'm happy to say.
Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
Did anyone else see an Advert for ebid on their News-Feed last night??
I was checking my MSN Feed at about 11:30 before bed and was taken by surprise to see a "Sell On Ebid" tile come round. Clicked it and was brought strait to the Home Page. Can't be bad.
My post-Christmas lull seemed to come late this year -- in April for some reason, but sale number ten this year happened yesterday to another buyer new to Ebid.
Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
A quick update since April as I've passed two small milestones recently.
A further 9 sales since then brings the total this year up to 19, mostly new members and a couple left me FB so I've now reached 50 FB. My total sales here have also now reached 80. Hope it won't be long before I'm back to say I've reached 100!! :)

Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
I used to be an optimist now I am a pessimist - my sales are 1 probably every 2 or 3 months so far my feedback earned here was mostly for YDC, think it was that curse put on a colleague and myself 40+ years ago because we deigned to send a demand letter to a customer for outstanding debt, sadly she died aged 39 me as Elton would say "I'm still standing" or maybe because I was born on a Saturday and must work hard for a living (for those who remember the rhyme)
Congratulations to those of you who are having sales
Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
bah only 26 sales so far this month [+ 2 NPB] including 2 return buyers . Mostly new buyers, also they were a mix of old listings & new
Re: The Positive Thread!!!!!!
i think ebid is like the good old early years of obay
while at the same time members have become more professional.
this site could easily overtake the other platforms if it had more buyers as its more seller friendly fairer rules and fees.
its what the market place needs for sellers who dont like the cut throat do as your told environment.
so hang in there :)
