xBox One backward compatibility hack - FAKE - DESTROYS XBOX ONE

It seems that some users have fallen for a nasty trick when trying to make their xBox One games console play games from an earlier version of the xBox.

Apparently, following instructions from an unauthorised source leads not to backward compatibility but actually damages the console to the point where it cannot be used and cannot be fixed.

The fake instructions begin:

By default, Xbox 360 backwards compatibility is disabled on the xBox One. To unlock it, follow these steps:
