Have you tried a PM?
Hi Everyone, Sorry I've been battling another COPD flare -up, anyway I'm no where near extinct yet, so I would like to nominate my local Brownie Guide Pack for next months YDC.
Brownies Guides are for girls aged 7-10y and my local pack are struggling to purchase the resources for the girls activities.

Hi Doe, hate to be pedantic, but Is there an area name we can add to the name 'Brownie Guide Pack' ?
Hope you are feeling better, Doe - Brownies is really a good group for kids. I remember my Brownie Troop when I was a kid, then I was a Brownie, then Girl Scout, and later on, leader of both groups.. Good times. It provides girls with a good place to be with friends and new friends, to try new activities, and go new places. It's gret for their self confidence as well as learning how to work together in a group.
I too also hope that you are feeling better Doe.
As a fellow COPD sufferer (bronchiectasis, diagnosed after I was so ill with pneumonia) - I know how rotten it makes you feel. I am just getting over another chest infection which started out as just a cold picked up from the kids, but I couldn't fight it off this time, so again, on antibiotics.
I agree with Her Most Gracious Majesty, Brownies are an excellent starter point for little girls. They grow up with great morals, and all the group activities gives them a super start in their life journey towards adolescence.
A great choice Doe, I hope that we can raise enough cash through YDC184 to enable the 212th Brownie Guide Pack to get the resources that they need. x
Hope you recover soon Doe. As a previous sixer of the gnomes "I promise that I will do my best, to be true to myself and develop my beliefs, to serve the Queen and my community, to help other people and to keep the (Brownie) Guide Law." and list for next YDC !
