Well quick update
so far I'm not impressed just the one sale
and not many views on my coins at all
and that's with google shopping

Well, congratulations on your first successful sale! It is a beginning anyway. I hear you loud and clear; I want more sales activity also. Hang in there. Each successfully completed sale improves your prospects for more activity on eBid.

I should probably make an update on this thread since it has been a while!
I'm now up to 5 completed sales and seem to have got the hang of how things work here.
It's still slow work getting sales, I still have no confidence in regards to Google shopping
I am impressed with ebid support they respond quickly and always seem very helpful unlike with the bay where you can wait for a response for days.
I am impressed with the amount of members who are willing to help new members on here!
but my final opinion is this:
Google shopping = i see no results
ebid community and support = great
sales = very hard to come by due to the economic situation and smaller member numbers available
with all this in mind i think ebid is still a work in progress, if i had not poached an ebay buyer i would still have only 2 sales
so i think ebid needs to get its finger out and start recruiting rather then hoping that the members do all the work for them
Were see how it goes over the next 6 months

Good thing you know how to cook eggs. Whatever it takes; including more from eBid. Good short term goals for here.

Can you tell me how much in US dollars google charges and could you please tell me, how do I join google if I want to, as you can see I am new at trying to sell the best way on Ebid. Thank you. Lee

Bobo - you don't need to pay google anything. eBid uploads our listings to Google for us......You are seller+. I assume eBid uploads all the listings to Google, but am sure that they at least upload Seller+. You DO need to make sure you put all the relevant Brand and Bar Code info into the listing in order for it to get uploaded to Google, IF the items you sell are not handmade, vintage, or antique (for example, and don't have bar codes.). IF items you sell are one of those.....antique, etc,.....then you need to write EXEMPT into the barcode box.
