I can't wait to hear more
Thanks so much, Meebo! I'm glad there is someone out there that wants to hear my tale.
Can you believe that someone gave my little thread a 1-star rating! My feelings were really hurt. Attachment 44872
Well, that's enough of a pity party on with my tale of one city.
There was quite a mob. Being just a little person all I could do was to follow along.

Luckily, we were all going to the same place …

Well, my dear eBid friends, did you know that this upstart of a country requires something called a "passport" to get admitted? I was told there were no exceptions, no matter who I was. Can you imagine! Well, they evidently did not know with whom they were dealing or how determined I was to get into New York. That's when I met my friend, "John". That's not his real name. I just want to protect him. He was kind enough to give me a little "ride" in his suitcase.

We did have a close call. I was quite terrified. Izzy is trained to sniff out anything illegal.

I learned later that that she sniffs for illegal substances and not illegal people. Good thing I'm made from legal stuff! So there really wasn't any call for alarm, but I didn't know that at the time.
John breezed through customs. It seems he knew about the "passport" thing. Once we passed through the gate John freed me from his suitcase. He was meeting with friends to catch a flight to Rochester, NY. That's where he goes to college.
So, he showed me where I could catch a taxi and bid me a fond farewell.
I know border control can be quite terrifying - especially the US!

So glad the Big Apple will get to see you Miss Ebid :)
Fun to get an update on her adventures! I'm glad 'John' didn't run into any difficulties!!
