Ebid is the ideal venue to list this type of item particularly if you are a Seller + Lifetime account holder.
Well…if you’re selling for ‘’fun’’ and have time to wait and not have much personal money invested on this all stuff you can list on eBid….and that’s ok…
And by the way on eBid books is listed on high numbers from other items which we have in here I don’t know reason for that maybe people can’t sell this stuff anymore like before and many books coming in here for listing because is free to list…In the end like you say ‘’are not a mass market item but’’….but we have in here ‘’massive’’ number of listing books…but someone always will buy but in my opinion not anymore where person can make good business out of it...
Thanks for reply…..:)...

Quite right - and if the Books, VHS Tapes, Vinyl Records are listed correctly to enable the searchers to locate the items - then eBid is an even more perfect place to list given the exposure that can be acquired. There is always a market for media items of interest.

Of course is exist market for some items if you’re selling for ‘’fun’’…
So…my friend ‘’Dean’’ if you’re believe that all this items can be sold with your ‘’reality’’ you can always try to invest your own money in that items and try to sell in here many books…many VHS…many Vinyl’s….with perfect description of the each item of course and let us know how sales go…
My opinion is very simple…all this stuff can be sold BUT if anyone has large inventory or invested much personal money in all this stuff is better to get rid of that all stuff if you try to make bigger sales or the money but if you’re selling for ‘’fun’’ or most of this items is not costing you almost nothing in that case you can ‘’wait’’ and enjoy in selling that stuff…
Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
When I was selling videos (gave up only due to my landlord banning me from storing stock at home) I would buy them for pennies and sell them for pounds to Americans :)
Particularly popular were British comedy (for American's) and UK football (for the European market)

I am not wanting to buy my own place as I prefer to rent.
Even if I were to find the cash to buy a house outright (I don't want a huge debt) I wouldn't use it as a warehouse :)

Well…I understand that…I rent in here before in my first 3 years in USA and throw out about $18.000 for nothing….and decide after that no more money for nothing I mean older day’s coming for me not that close but better for me to be ready after come and no more worry if I work or not have place to stay or ask for ‘’free ride’’ in my older day’s…
In my opinion any person can start to think for self and start working after he 18 and until he reach let’s say 50 or little more no more work no more ‘’usual’’ problems if only take care of self in that time of period….plenty of time for everything…
Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
I guess it's swings and roundabouts with housing.
I rent and don't see it as throwing money away....I don't have any repair bills as I have those included in my rent so my landlord is responsible for those.
Also there are minimum requirements for what is seen as acceptable housing and my landlord has to comply with all new regulations so I don't have to fork out more money for updating say to add central heating/ double glazing or whatever.
One downside to renting is that I cannot choose which type of heating etc so if I wanted to be really eco-friendly I would have to rent a totally different kind of property.
One upside is that I don't have to sell a place if I want to move to another area or I want to move to a larger place as there is no chain. I find the money I spend on rent relieves me of all the hassle of the cost of maintaining my own place. Also my landlord pays for building insurance...brilliant!

Yes your opinion is 'very simple', extremely so.
At no point in this thread has someone talked about investing to sell VHS tapes, Books etc...... People have talked about getting rid of things that they don't want. I find it odd that you then tell them they are wasting there time here. And then with talk of 'business' and 'reality' and now we are onto being able to buy houses with the proceeds of sales???
I hope that those asking the questions will see you have nothing for sale - look at what you have sold and for how much, then look at the sales of those with a differing opinion to yours and make a sound judgement on that basis. Ignoring any supposed reality claims in the process.
Re: Does anyone still use or buy VHS
Well I still have a collection of V.H.S. tapes which I watch regularly on my little combi TV upstairs where I go to escape from OH when he's watching sports :D
I have a few for sale in my charity store only because I can't bear (yet) to take them to the tip. They have been offered on Freecycle but seems you can't even give them away now! LOL
