  1. Re: Paypal Fees and options for shipping labels?

Paypal does have discounted shipping (at least in the USA) which may be accessed from a button next to the listing's line on your account summary page. You can sometimes get a better discount from...

    Re: card payments??

If you want to accept card payments, then you will need to open a merchant account with a bank or other entity who will process card payments. They (the credit card companies and the merchant...

Re: New and need help - pictures poor

I'm not in the UK, so I don't see your UK-only listings. However, I wondered if you tried clicking on the photo to view the larger version of the photo in a pop-up window?

Re: How Does Shipping Work Here?

Once payment has been made, and in your "Sold"/"Items I've Sold" list, just click on the "Print Shipping Label" in the dropdown menu next to the item, and it will take you directly to Paypal to buy...

    Re: Worst Album Ever???

New thread or not, I'd vote for that as my pick for the worst. They were completely untalented and untrained, but absolutely serious. It is such a painful, yet hilarious, listen. The backstory is...
  6. Re: Do Sold items no longer show up in Completed items or anywhere else on eBid ?

On your Dashboard menu (left side), there is a Sold (in bold) option that displays recently sold items. Also "Listings I Ran/with sales" displays items sold over the past 90 days. If you want to save...
  7. Re: JUST joined up...wonder if I can sell here as I did on Ebay

I've had months where I've sold more here than the other place. As was said, you do have to let people know that you sell stuff here (links in your online signatures, websites, etc.) as the US...

Welcome all. The more the merrier!

If you are using Ninja Lister, then you upload the photos from there. But if you are creating listings using "Sell on eBid" or "Sell Similar" then this is the...

Unless I've missed something, I don't see that it should raise any problem. She would need to have her own email account separate from yours (and linked to Paypal or whatever method she will be using...

    Re: Posting Photos

Certainly ebid.net doesn't have the traffic of other sites, but it is a viable selling site if you put in a modicum of effort to direct eyes to your listings. I disagree with the comment about...

    Re: Bids - USA?

Yes, sellers in the U.S. do make sales on ebid.net

As Policequilts noted, you have to let people know that you sell here, as there are not as many "drive by" viewers here as on some large sites....

Re: What is a proxy bid?

A proxy bid is where you bid the maximum amount you wish to pay for an item and when others make bid, the software will continue to raise your bid until you've reached your maximum bid. For example: ...
  13. Re: The future of Paypal and its use on Ebid.???

I've used Paypal's option to pay without an account (i.e., as a "Guest") on occasion simply to keep something separate from my normal PP account activity - such as when using a different credit card...
  14. Re: The future of Paypal and its use on Ebid.???

I would just add that buyers do not need to have or open a paypal account in order to pay using paypal. As a seller, one needs a pp account, but it makes little difference on the buyers' side.

It works the same in many ways. It has some nice features that you won't find on the majority of other sites. eBid allows you to both buy and sell on your account.

    Return and refund policy depends...

  25. Re: Is there a way to set my tax rate across all items at once?

There doesn't seem to be a place in Bulk Edit to change the sales tax fields. That might be a good suggestion to forward to support; useful for larger sellers.

I agree about the .com being a...

  27. Re: Messaging, edit shipping charges on invoices, first impressions from App designe
