    Something wrong there somewhere. Reporded to HMRC in January each calender year, but taxable in a tax year which is April of each year. Seems like hard work aligning those two.

    What is a profit? If you bought something 8 years ago and it sells for a bit more than you bought it for, is inflation taken into account?

    Also what is a loss? Is depreciation taken into account...

    looks like a fantasy to me, as such no face value. It's only genuine and has value if it is struck by the RM.

    The golden rule of cleaning coins is don't

    That said, silver can be brought up with silver dip - but you will loose value unless you wait for the coin to natually tone.
