Yes, there is an option to add colours as a product variation. But on further experimentation, it seems this option only exists for certain categories. I had to choose Health & Beauty > Haircare >...
I'm trying to create a new product listing, but I don't see an option to add Variations in colour?
Yes, that is what I have done. But it does not stop people outside my own country actually viewing my items, as far as I can tell.
I only ship to New Zealand so I don't really want or need people outside NZ seeing my listings. (Nothing personal, I just don't want to clash with the marketing done by the overseas distributors of...
I had an idea there is (or at least was) an option to set your eBid store so it's only visible to people from certain countries... but I can't see any such option in Settings. (Or is there no such...
Hmmph. In the past I've usually chosen the Featured option, run it for 60 days, and then relisted at a cost of 20 cents ($NZD) with no final value fee. There is little point in doing that any more if...
I believe that 2% fee is new - I've had a Seller+ account for some years, and I'm sure there was no final value fee for the Feature option last time I checked.
Maybe I missed the news, but has there been an increase in Seller+ "Featured" fees? I'm sure there used to be no Final Value Fee for that option, but I've just noticed the Fees chart says there is a...
Even after I log into my personal Seller account I am still prompted to enter my password for the eBid Forums. I then get a message that my Forum password (which theoretically should be the same as...
Maybe you should try my product ;). But seriously, it would be helpful if there were an option to allow me to enter the 7 colours using my own words. Ditto for shipping options, which I have...
But as far as I can see, the "None of the Above" option only allows you to enter *one* customised colour, not 7 different colours. When I click on the "Add Multiple Variations" button, I get a...
I don't see an option to enter all the multiple colour options I require. The drop-down menu has no option for "Blonde", "Light Grey", and "Dark Grey", for example.
It would be helpful if there were "colour" Attributes under Health & Beauty > Hair Care > Styling Products.
My products are under Health & Beauty > Hair Care > Styling Products ... and I still don't see an option for Attributes.
I don't see any option to add Product Attributes or Variations to Haircare products. Or is that option not available for the Haircare category?
I heartily agree. (eBay already has this feature.) In fact, I had a vague idea eBid had mentioned in a newsletter that they *would* be implementing colour/size options, but that doesn't seem to have...
Indeed. However, it appears the problem may now have been fixed? I have checked my Store link again and the links other people have shared here, and they now seem to be working again.
Firefox, Safari, and Chrome browsers are all rejecting my customised eBid Store URL (provided by eBid) as a "insecure connection". https://serious-hair-nz.ebid.net/
See attached screenshot. Help...
The issue is that the cost of "Other" will vary depending on what part of New Zealand the buyer lives in. Again, there currently appears to be no way of customising this in eBid's Shipping Options....
That's where we are, if I'm not much mistaken :)
Glad it's not just me then!
Under domestic shipping (New Zealand, in my case), I only have 7 options as a seller, which are not customisable: Not Known; Free Shipping; Standard Post; Fast Post; Registered Post; Other Courier;...
Hmm, it seems the image carousel is extremely slow to load on Firefox for Mac browser. It also took a while to load on Chrome and Safari when I tested it. Thanks for checking, anyway.
I have uploaded several photographs for my listing but I don't see the photo carousel appearing under the main photograph?...
Tell that to eBid's site engineers - I am their "customer", after all. How difficult can it be to add an option like this? (from TradeMe.co.nz)
*bump*
Looking at Shipping Codes, I'm still not sure that will work. Shipping for 1 item is $4. Shipping for 2 or more items is completely free. If I use a code, won't the customer still be charged a...
I'm not sure shipping codes would work in my case. I charge a shipping fee for customers who purchase only 1 item, and as a sales incentive I offer free shipping if they buy 2 or more items.
But I don't want to have to waste time sending out invoices manually. I want customers to be able to order and pay the correct shipping amount immediately via PayPal. At the moment people are making...
I don't see why it would be so difficult to add an option to activate free shipping if a customer adds 2 or more items to their basket. Or if they purchase goods over the value of $X. Or even an...
